“Chris, an AMAZING job capturing the pure love and emotion that my husband and I have for one another. He brought our engagement photos to life and helped both of us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Chris did not let us down for our wedding photos either. He was on time, professional, flexible, and listened to our vision to ensure he captured the crucial images. He was very fair on his pricing and is just an overall good guy. If you are looking for a phenomenal photographer for your next event, I highly recommend him!! ”

“We hired Chris as our wedding photographer. We got married in Maui, a real paradise for us! Although the elements were not very friendly, bright sun, shadows, and tropical showers, Chris captured some of the most memorable images! Not only were they aesthetically beautiful, but he was able to capture the emotion of our special day. I don’t know that any other photographer would have been able to do that. There are several of our images that convey so much feeling; it brings tears to not just my eyes and to many who view them. He captures the emotion of the event like no one else. ”

“Chris could not have been a better wedding photographer! He was so incredibly friendly and open to ideas for creative shots. His photos are stunning. He did a great job of capturing so many special moments without making the whole day about taking pictures. Highly recommend booking him for your big day.”

When you think about your wedding day, what comes to mind? Is it the feeling of your partner’s hand in yours as you exchanged vows? Or the taste of your wedding cake? Perhaps it’s the sound of laughter, the cheers, and the clinks of glasses as heartfelt toasts are made. All these moments are truly precious, aren’t they? But as time passes, these details, no matter how special, can start to fade in our memories. That’s where a wedding album comes in.

When you invest your time and heart into planning your big day, you want to make sure that those memories last. Yes, we live in a digital age where photos are easily taken and shared. But ask yourself, how often do you revisit those digital photos? How many times do you back them up or move them from one device to another? And let's face it, digital files can be lost or accidentally deleted. I’ve had the unfortunate experience of receiving calls from couples who have lost all their digital wedding photos. And in those heart-wrenching instances, the album they had ordered was their only remaining complete collection of their wedding day.

Purchasing a wedding album is more than just a means of storing photos. It’s a piece of your history, a tangible keepsake that tells your love story. It's a family heirloom that you can hold, display, and pass down to future generations. Long after technologies have changed, your album will still be there, narrating your story, exactly as it happened.

Now, you may wonder why a wedding album costs so much. That's a valid question. A professional wedding album is not just a photo book you can order online. Each album is individually designed, reviewed, and approved before it's printed. It's handcrafted, made with archival materials, premium photographic paper, and durable covers such as genuine leather or linen. The pages are thick, lay flat, and designed to last for generations without fading or falling apart.

When you invest in a wedding album, you're not just buying a book. You're investing in the preservation of your family's history. Over the decades, it becomes an invaluable memento of your special day.

So, as you plan your wedding, consider investing in a wedding album. It's not just a collection of photos; it’s a story, your story, told through beautiful images that will stand the test of time, bringing joy and memories to you and generations to come.

The Value of a Wedding Album: More Than Just Memories

An engagement session, often referred to as a pre-wedding shoot, is a fantastic opportunity for couples and photographers to get to know each other before the big day. It's a chance to capture some stunning, candid photos and to experiment with styles, locations, and poses. To help you make the most of this exciting experience, we've compiled some tips on outfit choices, location selection, and pose ideas. First things first, let's talk about the outfits. What you wear plays a significant role in the final look of your photos. You should aim for outfits that reflect your personality as a couple and make you feel confident and comfortable. Consider coordinating your outfits but avoid overly matching looks. Mixing and matching colours, patterns, and textures can add interest to your photos. Think about the location and the weather as well, choosing clothes that are appropriate for the setting and comfortable for the climate. Now, onto the location. Your engagement session should be as unique as your love story, and the location plays a big part in that. It could be a place that holds sentimental value, like where you first met or where the proposal took place. Or it could be a place that reflects your shared interests or hobbies. Think about the vibe you want for your photos – whether that's urban, rustic, beachy, or something else – and choose a location that fits. Finally, let's discuss posing. The key to a successful engagement shoot is to feel relaxed and natural, so your photos capture your genuine emotions and connections. Your photographer will guide you through this, but it's a good idea to have a few pose ideas in mind. These could include classic poses like holding hands, hugging, or walking together, as well as more playful ones like dancing, tickling, or making funny faces. Remember, the goal is to have fun and let your love for each other shine through! Preparing for an engagement session can feel a bit daunting, but with these tips, you should be well on your way to a successful and enjoyable photo shoot. The most important thing is to be yourselves, have fun, and enjoy this special time in your lives. Your engagement photos are not just pictures; they're memories that you'll cherish forever. So relax, smile, and let your love shine – you're about to embark on a wonderful journey together, and this is just the beginning!

Write in style: I am not a writer, or at least I never thought I was. For most of my life, I have struggled to understand myself. When I discovered photography, my world as an introvert began to fade. Suddenly I was always searching for the next picture, the next story, the next paid job.

Now, at thirty-five years old, married with two children, I find myself circling back to the same question: Who am I, and where do I fit in?

For a long time, I avoided talking about myself. I tried to let my work speak for me. But in today’s world, it seems that those who move ahead are the ones willing to speak loudly through a screen or post or story. Out of all the platforms available, a blog makes the most sense to me. It feels like a journal, a public journal, where I can share my thoughts, ideas, and the moments I capture through my lens.

Day One
Yesterday I woke up feeling like someone had taken my mind and left a clapping monkey in its place. I spent the day preparing for an evening photoshoot while caring for my three-year-old, picking up my six-year-old, and dropping them both off at my mother-in-law’s house so I could work.

As I began the shoot on a windy day in one of the wealthiest parts of Dallas, two beautiful people approached me. They were my subjects, a couple soon to be married. Something changed inside me as I started photographing them. I was witnessing a connection between two people in love, two people who wanted to be seen, celebrated, and remembered.

As the camera clicked, I felt myself come alive again. By the end of it, I was not just tired. I was fulfilled. I had done something that mattered.

This journey of being a photographer, a husband, and a father is beginning again. I am learning how to move through this world with honesty, to do some good, and to make a living.

More than anything, I am learning how to see again, both through my camera and within myself.
