We believe transparency is one of the most important parts of choosing a wedding photography and filmmaking team. You should know exactly who you are hiring, how we work, and what you can expect from us. Our goal is simple: to provide a talented, professional team that fits your needs while keeping the photography and filmmaking process as stress-free as possible.
We don't care about your political views, what you call God, where you come from, or who you love. We are professionals, artists, and storytellers. Our job is to create photographs and films that represent you, not our personal beliefs.
Everyone deserves to feel comfortable, respected, and welcome in front of our cameras.
Our involvement doesn't end when we arrive with our cameras, and it certainly doesn't end when the wedding is over.
We've photographed hundreds of weddings and events and have seen just about everything. We use that experience to help our couples whenever we can. Have a question about your timeline? Need help thinking through a difficult photo situation? Unsure how something will work on the wedding day?
Ask us. We're happy to help.
We're photographers, but we're also problem-solvers, teammates, and human beings. If someone needs help carrying something, fixing a boutonniere, calming down before the ceremony, or figuring out what happens next, we're going to help.
Our goal is to create a combination of creative portraits and genuine, unscripted moments.
We approach weddings as documentary photographers. We will absolutely help create beautiful portraits, provide direction when needed, and make sure you look your best. But when it comes to real moments, we believe in letting them happen naturally.
We don't stage emotional moments, manufacture reactions, or interfere with important parts of your wedding simply to get a better photograph.
Our job is to document what actually happened.
We may clean up distractions, choose a better angle, or make creative decisions that improve the final image. But we don't want to manufacture memories that never happened.
Every couple is different, and we want your photographs and films to reflect that.
We work to match our creative approach to your personalities, your relationships, your wedding, and the overall feeling of the day. We welcome ideas and collaboration, and we're always excited when a couple brings something creative to the table.
If you want a ridiculous photo with Aunt Jenny dancing on the dance floor, we're absolutely getting it.
But we also won't force your wedding into whatever photography trend happens to be popular that month. We have our own creative instincts, experience, and artistic voice, and we believe the best work happens when your personality and our creativity meet in the middle.
Your privacy matters to us.
We may photograph thousands of images during a wedding or event. Most of what you see on our website and social media will naturally be the polished portraits and highlights, but there will also be photographs that are personal, emotional, funny, imperfect, or simply meant for you.
We respect that.
Before sharing photographs publicly that may contain sensitive or private content, we will ask for permission. We want to build our portfolio without treating your wedding like a public display case.
Your photographs are created for you, and we believe you should have a meaningful say in how they are used.
Our cameras are usually nearby, and our eyes are always looking for moments.
That means we may photograph the big things everyone expects: the ceremony, first dances, portraits, speeches, and celebrations.
But we're also looking for the little things:
If it happens, we want to document it.
That said, your wedding is still your wedding. If there are moments, people, locations, or situations you do not want photographed, tell us. We will respect those boundaries.
You should never feel like you have to choose between having a documentary wedding experience and having privacy.
We want you to look back at your photographs and remember what your wedding actually felt like.
Not a perfectly staged version of it.
Not somebody else's Pinterest board.
Not a collection of trendy photographs that could belong to anyone.
Your people. Your personalities. Your weird moments. Your love. Your story.
That's what we're there to document.
